The Landeskanal is a Liechtenstein television channel that transmits official information in the full screen and teletext system. It started broadcasting in 1992 and is operated by the Press and Information Office . The national channel reaches over 80 percent of households via the cable networks of Telecom Liechtenstein and TV-COM . The television program consists of Liechtenstein films, public events, sporting events and text panels that are updated daily. Since June 2008, the content of the state channel has also been made available on the Internet.
