Country broadcaster

As country stations are radio - and television channels or programs referred to in its information service exclusively or mainly on regional issues - for example, a federal state - limit.

An example of state broadcasters in Germany are the public broadcasting stations , which offer regional programs in addition to the nationwide basic service for the federal states. For example, the Südwestrundfunk (SWR) has two state broadcasters for Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate under one roof, and the television offerings (SWR >> BW and SWR >> RP) are also regionally divided here.

In Austria there are also regionally oriented program providers who see themselves as state broadcasters, for example the ORF regional studios of the second radio programs of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation such as ORF Radio Burgenland , ORF Radio Kärnten etc.
