State road 1238

The Lower Austrian state road L1238 (L1238) is a state road L in Lower Austria . It leads over a length of 13 kilometers from Reinprechtspölla via Sachsendorf and Reikersdorf to Obernholz .

The section from km 7.3 to km 11.2, the section over the Manhartsberg , is a dirt road . Due to this fact, the state road 1238 is often used during rallies for special stages.

While in the first survey of the state in the 18th century, today's natural road is recorded as a continuous road, according to the third survey in the 19th century there is only a forest path. In current official maps, the section over Manhartsberg is shown as a street.
