The Regional Association of Tourism Organizations in South Tyrol (until 1994 Regional Association of Transport Organizations ), LTS for short , is the umbrella organization for tourism associations and associations in South Tyrol . As such, the LTS represents the 77 tourism associations and 10 tourism associations at the political level and in all important tourism bodies at the state level. The LTS is headed by a 25-member Executive Board, from whose midst a President, two Vice-Presidents and another five committee members are appointed.

The central tasks of the LTS are institutional activities, information activities, IT support and software development, as well as training and further education for employees in tourism organizations.

The institutional tasks include looking after the member associations in day-to-day business matters, representing interests in committees and advisory boards, implementing nationwide tourism-related projects, concluding monetary agreements, coordinating nationwide uniform tourism solutions, preparing analyzes and reports, and working together with other business associations and tourism partners and the political commitment to just and sufficient funding.

The information tasks are carried out through circulars and e-mails on tourism-related topics as well as news on EDP content.

In the area of IT support , LTS tries to cover the IT spectrum including IT hardware and software as well as the IT hotline by telephone. In addition, there is the constant further development of the company's own back office software TIC-Web and the support and advice on networking tourism organizations.

In the area of education and training , the LTS tries to offer its members seminars on the topics of tourism, languages, internet, marketing and personal competence.

In 1999 the LTS Genossenschaft , or LTS Gen. for short, was founded in order to outsource the increasing activities in the area of ​​IT services as well as further training and accounting from the LTS Association.
