State representation of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Crafts

The State Representation of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Crafts (LHN), based in Hanover , acts as a working group of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Crafts and cares for their common interests at the state level. The organization was founded in 1900.

At the seat of the Lower Saxony state government and the state parliament in Hanover, the state representation of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Skilled Crafts advocates framework conditions for 83,000 craft businesses with 500,000 employees in Lower Saxony. It deals with questions of education policy, issues of craft promotion, the craft regulations, for start-ups and company owners and for companies that want to expand abroad. Together with the chambers, the state representation develops proposals and statements for a small and medium-sized enterprise-oriented legislation, it advocates the consideration of craft issues in traffic, environmental or European issues and for the strengthening of craft self-administration.

The chairman of the LHN is Karl-Wilhelm Steinmann, President of the Hanover Chamber of Crafts. His deputies are Manfred Kurmann, President of the Oldenburg Chamber of Crafts (employer side) and Jörg Klein, Vice President of the Chamber of Crafts for East Friesland (employee side).

Members of the consortium are the Chamber of Brunswick-Lüneburg-Stade , the Chamber Hannover , the Chamber of Crafts Hildesheim-Südniedersachsen , the Chamber Oldenburg , the Chamber Osnabrück-Emsland-Bentheim and the Chamber of Trade of East Friesland .
