Rothenfels Regional Court

The Rothenfels Regional Court was an older Bavarian regional court that existed from 1852 to 1879 and was based in Rothenfels in what is now the Main-Spessart district . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

The forerunner of the regional court founded in 1852 was the ruling court Rothenfels der Fürstl. v. Löwenstein government and justice chancellery in Kreuzwertheim (until 1848). In 1879 the court in Rothenfels was dissolved with the transfer of the regional courts to local courts.
