Stralsund District Court

The Stralsund Regional Court is a court of the ordinary jurisdiction of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and one of four regional courts in the district of the Rostock Higher Regional Court .

    In building land matters, the Stralsund Regional Court was also given responsibility for the district of the Rostock Regional Court. In addition, the Stralsund Regional Court is exclusively responsible for the entire district of the Rostock Higher Regional Court for the coastal waters in criminal and civil matters, if the regional courts have substantive jurisdiction.

    Superordinate and subordinate courts

    The Higher Regional Court of Rostock and the Federal Court of Justice (BGH) are superordinate to the Stralsund Regional Court. The district courts of Greifswald and Stralsund are subordinate.

    Public prosecutor

    The Stralsund public prosecutor's office established at the Stralsund Regional Court is responsible for the entire regional court district. It is also located at Frankendamm 17 .
