Landscape in Change is a comprehensive compilation of historical maps for Rhineland-Palatinate , which was published from 2007 to 2010 by the State Office for Surveying and Geospatial Information in Rhineland-Palatinate in a series of 194 CD-ROMs .

The image material is based on the sheet cut of the topographic maps on a scale of 1: 25,000 and covers an area of ​​around 130 km². There are up to 20 maps from the past 150 to 200 years, including the Prussian first recording , Prussian new recording and, in some cases, topographical recording of the Rhineland . The maps can be displayed side by side and semi-transparent one above the other.

The resolution of the maps is 400 dpi . The files are in the .HIL format . The software was developed by Hermann Josef Hill from Koblenz .
