The Bruchhausen landscape protection area with 1.5  hectares is located in the Arnsberg urban area . It was designated as a landscape protection area (LSG) as LSG type B (small-scale landscape protection) in 1998 with the Arnsberg landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis . It is north of Bruchhausen . The LSG goes to the edge of the settlement.

Protection purpose
