Landscape protection area Lower Hellefelder Bachtal
The landscape protection area Unteres Hellefelder Bachtal with an area of 2.5 hectares is located in the urban area of Arnsberg . It was designated in 1998 with the Arnsberg landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerland district as a landscape protection area (LSG) type C (meadow valleys) . It is located south of Arnsberg. The LSG borders directly on the settlement area. The nature reserve Unteres Hellefelder Bachtal borders in the south .

Protection purpose
The designation was made to secure and maintain the efficiency of the natural balance or the usability of the natural assets; because of the variety, character or beauty of the landscape and its particular importance for recreation. The designation is intended to secure open spaces in the outskirts.
Legal regulations
In the landscape protection area, among other things, the erection of structures is prohibited.
