Szaniec Landscape Park
The Szaniec Landscape Park ( Szaniecki Park Krajobrazowy ) is a nature reserve in Poland , which is assigned to the category Landscape Park . The park established in 1986, the second largest of the three Ponidzie Landscape Parks, is located in the Powiat Buski in the municipalities (gmina) Busko-Zdrój , Solec-Zdrój , Stopnica as well as in the Powiat Kielecki in the municipality Chmielnik and in the Powiat Pińczowski in the municipality Kije in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in central southern Poland and has an area of 109.15 km² and a buffer zone of 128.59 km². The Owczary Nature Reserve, designated in 1959, belongs to it . The gypsum karst landscape is characteristic of the park .
