This article deals with the second constitutional state parliament Reuss younger line 1856.

Parliament

The Reuss Younger Line Landtag was elected in March and April 1855. The election took place indirectly in four multi-person constituencies:

  • Large landowners (4 MPs)
  • Gera region (6 MPs)
  • Schleiz region (5 MPs)
  • Lobenstein-Ebersdorf region (4 MPs)

The state parliament period ran from 1855 to 1857, but the state parliament was only convened for a single state parliament session in 1856.

State Parliament President Anton Fürbringer

State parliament commissioner was Minister Eduard von Geldern . The Landtag elected Anton Fürbringer as President of the Landtag under the senior president Heinrich Tamm . Hermann Fasold was elected as Vice President. The secretaries were Feodor Hösler (February 21 to April 18), Wilhelm Schneider (April 18 to June 11) and Richard Liebich (June 11 to 20). Deputy secretary was Daniel Jahn.

The state parliament met from February 20, 1856 to June 20, 1856 in 28 public plenary sessions in one session. The state parliament passed on July 2, 1856.

A state parliament committee was elected for the time between the session periods. This consisted of the MPs Anton Fürbringer (for the Gera region), Heinrich Rohn (for the Schleiz region) and Hermann Fasold (for the Lobenstein-Ebersdorf region)
