This article deals with the Reuss Landtag younger line 1865–1868.
Parliament
The Reuss Younger Line Landtag was elected indirectly in four curiae:
- 1 viril vote for the owner of the Reuss-Köstritzer Paragium
- The owners of the 31 manors eligible for the state parliament elected 3 members
- The cities elected representatives (Gera 3, Schleiz and Lobenstein 1 each, Tanna, Saalburg, Hirschberg together 1)
- The rural population elected 3 MPs
The electors were elected from March to October 1865, those of the MPs and their deputies from August to November 1865.

State Commissioner was Minister of State Adolph von Harbou . Under the senior president Moritz Fuchs, the state parliament elected Hermann Ampach as state parliament president (from July 25, 1866, this was Julius Amberti). Moritz Fuchs was elected as vice-president (from July 25, 1866, this was Walther Reichard). The secretary was Julius Amberti (from February 6, 1866, this was Christian Neumeister). Deputy secretary was initially Walther Reichard and from February 6, 1866 Bernhard Jäger. In the period from March 12 to July 25, 1866, this task was performed by Julius Alberti.
The state parliament met from November 19, 1865 to June 16, 1868 in 49 public plenary sessions in four ordinary and three extraordinary session periods. The state parliament passed on June 15, 1868.
