Band history

In summer 1999 the second album Zero Poems followed , which received very good reviews in the specialist press. In 2000 singer and keyboardist Stefen Zoerner left the band, replacing Richie Seibel (keyboard) and Tobias Althammer (vocals). In 2003 the CD The Art Effect was released.

Lanfear's fourth album, aNother gOlden rAge, dates back to 2005. The last two CDs were also released in the USA through a license agreement with Nightmare Records.

At the beginning of 2006, the band separated from Tobias Althammer, and Nuno Miguel de Barros Fernandes was hired as the new singer. The fifth studio album X to the Power of Ten was released on August 22, 2008 via Locomotive Records in Europe and on September 9 in North America. The sixth album This Harmonic Consonance was released on February 24, 2012 via Pure Steel Records / Pure Legend Records.
