The Georgia Satellites are a Georgia-based American rock band that had their biggest hit in 1986 with Keep Your Hands to Yourself .

The short album Keep the Faith was created in 1985 and contains six songs. (Founding members: Dan Baird and Rick Richards) Dave Hewitt plays bass and Randy Richards drums on this album.
The first album Georgia Satellites was the most successful with the titles Keep Your Hands to Yourself, Battleship Chains, Can't Stand the Pain and Railroad Steel.

Dan Baird pursued a solo career with two albums before joining forces with Eric Ambel, Keith Christopher and Terry Anderson to form the YAYHOOS.
