Langøy (English Lang Island ) is an approximately 1.6 km long and 0.7 km wide island off the coast of the East Antarctic Kemplands . It is halfway between the island of Brattøy and the Øygarden archipelago .
Norwegian cartographers recorded it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 . Its elongated shape gave the island its name.
