Rykkerup 1

The north-south oriented, rectangular barren bed (Danish: Langdysse) with the chamber of a parallel arched dolmen has a length of about 16.5 m, a width of about 7.0 m and a height of 1.0 m. About half of the 40 curbs, some of which are quite small, have been preserved. Below are the two guardian stones at the corners of the slightly concave front of the enclosure. On both sides of the Urdolmen there are two extraction pits of mound earth within the mound bed. About 6 m from the facade is the 1.25 m long and 0.6 m wide Urdolmen with 3 large, only half-recessed supporting stones, a threshold stone, but without a capstone.
