Laodike (daughter of Agapenor)

Laodike ( Greek  Λαοδίκη ) is in Greek mythology the daughter of Agapenor , the king of the Arcadian Tegea , who was driven home from Troy to Cyprus , where he founded the sanctuary of Aphrodite in Paphos . From there, Laodice sent Athena Alea a peplos to Tegea. In Tegea she founded a sanctuary of the Paphic Aphrodite .
