Laodike (wife of Achaios)
Laodike was a daughter of Mithridates II of Pontus and Laodike , the daughter of Antiochus II. She was lovingly brought up by Logbasis, a guest of Antiochus Hierax , in Selge in Pisidia. Around 220 BC BC she married the viceroy of Asia Minor, Achaios . When this against the Seleucid king Antiochus III. revolted, she was entrusted with the protection of the castle of Sardis ; after the fall and death of her husband, she surrendered in 213 BC. Because of differences of opinion among their troops. Her later fate is unknown.
