Laodike (wife of Phraates II.)
Laodike was a daughter of the Seleucid ruler Demetrios II. , Who her uncle Antiochus VII. 129 BC. In his great Parthian War. But after Antiochus VII fell, she was captured by the Parthian king Phraates II and taken as his wife. Justin , who reports this, does not mention her name. But since Porphyrios attributes five children to Antiochus VII, including two daughters named Laodike, Auguste Bouché-Leclercq suspects in his monumental work on the Seleucids that this Neoplatonist the children of the two brothers mix, so that one of the two Laodiks was not the daughter of Antiochus VII, but Demetrios II and, after the war, became the wife of Phraates II.
