The Lapeyrère Bay ( French Baie Boué de Lapeyrère ) is a bay on the northeast coast of the Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago . It is 11 km long, 3 km wide and lies north of the Gourdon Peninsula .
The bay was roughly mapped during the Antarctic expedition on the Groenland (1873–1874) under the direction of the German polar explorer Eduard Dallmann . Another mapping was carried out by Jean-Baptiste Charcot on the Fourth French Antarctic Expedition (1903–1905). Charcot named the bay after the French rear admiral Auguste Boué de Lapeyrère (1852-1924).
