Lar ( Persian لار, DMG Lār , also: Shahr-e Qadīm-e Lār Persian شهر قدیم لار) is a city with almost 70,000 inhabitants. It is the administrative center of the administrative district ( šahrestān ) Larestan in the Iranian province of Fars .
