Lardal was a municipality in the Norwegian province of Vestfold (merged into Vestfold og Telemark in 2020 ). On January 1, 2018, it merged with Larvik .

The municipality bordered Kongsberg and Hof to the north, Re and Andebu to the east, Larvik to the south and Siljan to the west . The administrative center was in Svarstad . The second most important town was Steinsholt . The highest point in the municipality was Vindfjell at 619  m . The river Lågen , which is rich in salmon , ran through the municipality from north to south .
