Kujō Yoritsugu

Kujō Yoritsugu ( Japanese 九 条 頼 嗣 ; * December 17, 1239 ; † October 14, 1256 ) ruled from 1244 to 1252 as the 5th Shogun of the Kamakura Shogunate in Japan . His father was the 4th Shogun Kujō Yoritsune . His mother was the daughter of Fujiwara no Chikayoshi.

He was installed as a shogun by Hōjō Tokiyori at the age of six, as his father became too strong as a puppet regent for the Hōjō clan .
