Larry Hogan (theologian)

Larry P. Hogan (* 1942 ) is an Austrian Roman Catholic theologian and professor of the Old Testament at the International Theological Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family (ITI) in Trumau and a priest of the Archdiocese of Vienna ; he is also a Greek Catholic priest.

Hogan studied philosophy , psychology and theology in Rochester , New York. After ordination in 1968 he worked in many pastoral and ecumenical services in the United States and Canada before 1986 be special studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem with a dissertation on the subject of healing in the time of the Second Temple completed. Larry Hogan has worked as an exorcist for more than 40 years and since 2001 has been the official "Commissioner in Liberation Service" of the Vienna Archdiocese . From 2006 to 2014 he was the successor to Michael Waldstein as Rector of the ITI.
