Lars Harms (born September 13, 1977 in Basel ) is a former Swiss squash player who also has German citizenship.

Career

Lars Harms played on the PSA World Tour from 2000 to 2005 . He won two tournaments in these and stood in three other finals. He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 41 in September 2002. He was Swiss champion in 1996 and from 2000 to 2005 . Since Harms also has German citizenship, he was also eligible to play in German championships. He became German champion in 2001 and 2003 .

Harms was a member and captain of the Swiss national team for ten years , with which he participated in numerous European and world championships. At World Championships he was in the Swiss squad in 1995 , 1997 , 1999 and 2003 . In 2002 and 2003 he was in the main field of the World Cup. Both times he was eliminated in the first round. Due to a burnout , he ended his career in May the following year.

In 2004 he moved to London , where, following his professional career, he founded a company in the fitness and health industry and ran it from 2005 to 2007. During this time he was employed as a health advisor by Claudia Schiffer . Further activities in this branch followed, initially also in London and since 2012 in Switzerland.
