The Lasarev Dome ( Russian Купол Лазарева Kupol Lasarewa ) is an ice dome on the Princess Martha coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises on the banks of Pryamougol'naya Bay .
Russian scientists named them after Mikhail Petrovich Lasarew (1788-1851), commander of the frigate Mirny during the first Russian Antarctic expedition (1819-1821) under the direction of Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen .
