Last Year: The Nightmare (dt .: Last year: The Nightmare ) is an asymmetric survival horror video game, which was developed by the Canadian development studio Elastic games. It was released for Microsoft Windows on December 18, 2018 .

Gameplay

Last Year: The Nightmare is an asymmetrical horror game in which five survivors play against a killer. It takes place in 1996. Survivors explore the map and complete a variety of objectives in an attempt to escape while a killer tries to prevent them from doing so. The killer is able to de- and respawn out of sight of the survivors. This ability is called "Predator mode". This mode also allows the killer to place traps in front of the unsuspecting survivors and activate them.

Last Year: The Nightmare had a closed beta from November 2nd to 5th, 2018. The game is a so-called "First on Discord " title. This means that the game could only be purchased via Discord for 90 days and has therefore only been available from other Windows game providers since March 18, 2019.
