history

Lastauto Omnibus is the oldest commercial vehicle magazine in continental Europe and was first published in 1924 under the title Das Lastauto . It could appear like this until 1943 and in 1944 the magazine was given the title Das Lastauto und Auto- und Motorrad-Zeitschrift . The magazine did not appear from 1945 to 1947.

From 1947 it was reissued and from 1951 published under the name Lastauto und Omnibus . In 1966 it was given the current title of Lastauto Omnibus . Until 2009 the magazine appeared 12 times a year. It has been published 10 times a year since 2010 and 11 times a year since 2011. It costs € 4.70 and 16,437 magazines were sold, 1,601 of them abroad.

There is regularly the latest information about commercial vehicles and buses, presentations of new commercial vehicles, important dates and events.

A new component with information on training in the automotive sector was added in 2010. There are also independent tests, commercial vehicle presentations and critical comments. An integral part of the magazine is information on all commercial vehicle products, market reports on the many types of trucks, vans, buses, trailers and bodies. Supplements are available as Truck Race Guide , Trans aktuell / Extra , from 2005 The Best Brands , Who is Who in the Commercial Vehicle Fleet Market and from 2006 Lastauto Omnibus / Spezial every now and then.
