Lachesar Pravchev

Latschesar Pravtschew , Bulgarian Лъчезар Пръвчев (born January 24, 1956 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian opera singer ( tenor ).

Life

Pravchev studied singing with Irena Brambarowa at the Sofia Conservatory .

He received a two-year scholarship at La Scala in Milan .

After engagements at the National Opera Sofia and the State Theater Braunschweig , he has been engaged at the State Opera Hanover since 1989 . Guest engagements have taken him to Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Essen, as well as abroad to the USA, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Sweden and Belgium.

In 1998 he was awarded the title of chamber singer . He worked u. a. together with conductors like Zubin Mehta , Lorin Maazel , Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos , Gerd Albrecht and Ingo Metzmacher .
