The Latukan is a 2338 m high stratovolcano in the Philippines .
The mountain is located in an east-west running volcanic mountain range in central Mindanao . In the northwest of the Latukan is the Lanao Lake with the city of Marawi City . To the west lies the Makaturing volcano , in the northeast rises the Ragang volcano, known from historical reports and classified as active .
The last eruption of the Latukan is unknown, a more detailed investigation is still pending. However, it is likely that the Latukan was active in the Holocene .
