Lau Teng Chuan

Lau Teng Chuan (born April 13, 1929 - † May 8, 2012 ) was a sports official, badminton player and badminton coach from Singapore .

Career

Lau Teng Chuan attended Victoria School in Singapore, Loughborough College in England and the University of Oregon , where he earned his Masters degree. From 1956 to 1958 he was Singapore badminton player from 1963 to 1965 national coach in his home country. From 1975 to 1992 he was Executive Director of the Singapore Sports Council and from 1995 to 2001 General Secretary of the Singapore NOC .
