Laura Asadauskaitė-Zadneprovskienė (born February 28, 1984 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian pentathlete and Olympic champion .

Life

Laura Asadauskaitė-Zadneprovskienė lives in Vilnius and studies at the Mykolas-Romer University . She is married to the pentathlete and ex-world champion Andrejus Zadneprovskis (* 1974). Their daughter was born in 2010; in 2011 Laura Asadauskaitė-Zadneprovskienė took part in the world championships again. She won the title twice at world championships : 2013 in singles and 2014 in mixed relay.

Her first trainer was Irena Jurevič, followed by Jevgenijus Kliosovas and husband Andrejus Zadneprovskis.

In 2011 and 2015 she was named Lithuania's Sportswoman of the Year .
