Laura Weissbecker (born October 3, 1984 ) is a French actress .
biography
Laura Weissbecker grew up in a family with German roots not far from the Franco-German border in Strasbourg . She has a brother and a sister.
Film career
She began her film career in 2002 with a small role at the side of François Cluzet in France Boutique . Her breakthrough in France came with the female lead in Russian Dolls (2005) and the period film Versailles (2008). She was introduced to the German audience in the series Attention Doctor at the side of Annette Frier and André Röhner .
Laura Weissbecker works in France, Germany, the United States and the People's Republic of China. In addition to French , she speaks fluent English and German . In 2013 she was appointed to the jury of the Shanghai Film Festival.
