Laurence Dunmore

Laurence Dunmore is a film director and film producer .

Career

Dunmore's first directorial film, The Libertine , starring Johnny Depp , premiered at the 2004 Toronto International Film Festival . Dunmore himself said that he did not want to see his film as a sequel to Pirates of the Caribbean , otherwise the audience would be very disappointed (“ a very upset audience ”). In September 2004 it was announced that Dunmore would direct A Million Little Pieces . In October 2005, Dunmore was nominated twice for the British Independent Film Award , but could not win either trophy.
