Lauri Tilkanen
Lauri Tilkanen (born November 6, 1987 in Karinainen , Finland ) is a Finnish actor .
Life
Tilkanen grew up with three siblings in a farming family in the Karinainen community. His mother works as a special teacher, his father is the owner of a feed company. As a child, Tilkanen sang in a children's choir. Other hobbies in his childhood and youth included cross-country skiing, athletics, basketball, and ice hockey; The latter played a very important role in his life. Tilkanen still does various team sports and plays the piano, guitar and drums. He spent much of his youth in Turku , where he played in the Turun Nuori Teatteri theater .
Tilkanen began studying at the Helsinki Theater Academy (Finnish: Teatterikorkeakoulu) in 2006 . He has been an actor since 2007. In 2012 he graduated with a Master of Arts (MA).
Tilkanen has appeared in four Finnish TV series and seven films. The best-known series in which Tilkanen has appeared are Hovimäki (Court Hill) and Helppo elämä (Easy Life). In the series Hovimäki he played the young nobleman Väinö Seppä and in the third season of Helppo Elämä Joonas, a lawyer. The film roles he has cast are Rupert in Skavabölen pojat (Last Cowboy Standing) and Matti Välitalo in Härmä (Once Upon a Time in the North). Tilkanen has engagements in the Ryhmäteatteri theater in Helsinki and in the improvisation group Riskiryhmä . Riskiryhmä consists of 14 young Finnish actors and three musicians.
Tilkanen lives with the actress Pamela Tola (born October 15, 1981), whom he met while filming the film Härmä in summer 2011.
