Laurence Edward "Laurie" Adams (born February 14, 1931 in Barnet ) is a former English football player .

Career

Adams came in January 1952 as an amateur to Watford FC and was still doing his military service when he made his debut in the Third Division South in a 2-0 home win against Walsall FC on the left inside forward position in February 1952 . Although he received a professional contract after his discharge from military service in July 1952, he was only used in the reserve team in the 1952/53 season and was not extended beyond the end of the 1953 season. In October 1955 he was reamateurized by the Football Association and played in Exeter for Whipton FC .
