Lautala is an uninhabited island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .

geography

Lautala is a small islet between Tapana and Kapa . It belongs to the reef southeast of the center of Vavaʻu. It is almost directly connected to the little sister Nukutahanga in the east.

climate

The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Vavaʻu group, Lautala is occasionally hit by cyclones .
