from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lautundspitz.ch was a party and people portal in Switzerland , which contained a party photo database and event information as well as a database of event locations and community functions.

history

Lautundspitz.ch was founded in 2001 by Thomas Lautenschlager and Ronny Spitzli, hence the name. In 2003, Daniel Saxer followed as the third partner and the company was founded as a GmbH with entry in the commercial register. After 2004 it was the second largest party portal in Switzerland. In its heyday, the portal was visited by more than 169,000 users. It had more than 30 million page views every month and had a million visitors in 2008. In that year AZ Medien AG also acquired a stake in the company. As recently as 2011, WEMF had certified 450,000 visits from 10 million page impressions from 110,000 users. Like other web portals in the field of social networks , the shape of Lautundspitz.ch has been overtaken by competitors such as Facebook .

In 2013 the company no longer had any permanent employees. In the official gazette a preliminary bankruptcy announcement of the operator was published and the operator had to deposit the balance sheet , the website will probably be continued on a private basis.
