The Lawrence Hills ( English ; Russian Нунатаки Татищева Nunataki Tatishcheva , German 'Tatishchev-Nunatakker' ) are a group of rocky hills in the East Antarctic Mac-Robertson Land . They rise 9 km north of the Mawson Escarpment on the eastern flank of the Lambert Glacier .

Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956, 1960 and 1973 were used for their career. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them in 1973 after the government official Thomas Fulton Coleman Lawrence (1915-2003) of the Australian Department of Manufacturing Industry , who was responsible for Australian interests in Antarctica and was responsible for naming the Casey station . The namesake of the Russian name is not known.
