Lawrence I. Conrad
Lawrence I. Conrad (* 1949 ) is a British scholar of Islam.
Life
Lawrence I. Conrad received his PhD from Princeton University in 1981 . He is the author of numerous studies on the history of the Middle East, Arabic and Islamic medicine, and Arabic, Greek and Syrian historiography. From 2001 to 2008 he taught as a professor (C4) for Islamic Studies - History and Culture of the Arab Region in Islamic Times at the University of Hamburg .
