Lawrence R. Poos

Lawrence Raymond Poos (* 1954 ) is an American medieval historian. He specializes in the history of England in the late Middle Ages and in the early modern period, from roughly the 14th to the 17th centuries.

Life

He earned AB from Harvard University in 1976 and Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge . He teaches at the Catholic University of America (since 1994 Professor of History, 1989–1994 Associate Professor, 1983–1989 Assistant Professor).
