The Le Maschere del Teatro Italiano is an Italian theater award . The award is presented annually for outstanding achievements by Italian performing artists in 15 categories. It was donated in 2003 by the Italian Ministry of Culture , the Ente teatrale italiano (ETI), the Veneto region and the city of Vicenza . Originally it was known as Premio ETI Gli Olimpici del Teatro . It is awarded annually in September.
