Solid HarmoniE is a British girl group that was founded in 1996 and had its greatest successes in the Netherlands .
history
The founding members of Solid HarmoniE were Rebecca Onslow, Melissa Graham and Mariama Goodman. Their first single Got 2 Have Ya was released in 1996 and was able to place in the German charts in December . In 1997, Goodman temporarily left the band to take care of their sick mother, she was replaced by Elisa Cariera, who was discovered by the band in the USA . After the band returned to the UK, Mariama Goodman returned to Solid HarmoniE.
In 1997, Solid HarmoniE , the band's debut album , was released. It reached chart positions in several European countries, including No. 4 in Finland and No. 2 in the Netherlands , where it was awarded gold . The album spawned four singles, including could the first two songs I'll Be There for You and I Want You to Want Me each top-10 finishes in the Netherlands and Sweden reach, also went all four singles in the UK charts a where the album, however, could not achieve a placement.
1999 Mariama Goodman left the band again and became a member of the band Honeyz , Melissa Graham began a solo career in the same year and Jenilca Giusti became a new member of the band. Another album, however, was not released and the band broke up in 2000.
In 2013 the reunion of the band, now consisting of Rebecca Onslow, Melissa Graham and Elisa Cariera, was announced. In 2014 their first new single Circus was released.
