Le Pharo
Le Pharo is a quarter ( French : Quartier ) of the southern French city of Marseille in the Bouches-du-Rhône department . Le Pharo belongs to the 7th arrondissement (city district) and the canton of Marseille-Saint-Lambert . In 2006, 5914 people lived here.
The Palais du Pharo is located in Le Pharo . This is a small palace that opened in 1858 as the summer residence of Napoleon the Third . Today there is a hotel there. The area is also home to the Plage des Catalans .
