Lea Susemichel

Lea Susemichel (* 1976 in Worms ) is a German journalist , author and feminist. She lives in Vienna.

Life

Lea Susemichel studied philosophy and gender studies in Vienna. She completed her studies in 2005 with a master's thesis on “The gesture as an event”.

She has been writing as a freelance journalist for various newspapers and magazines such as Der Standard , dieStandard.at , Bildpunkt u. a. She has been the managing editor of an.schlag since 2006 . The feminist magazine . The magazine is characterized by an intersectional , queer feminism.

As an author, lecturer and lecturer, she works on the topics of feminist theory and movement and feminist media policy. It stands for a feminism that sees itself not only as women's or minority politics, but also as a "fair distribution of resources in global terms".
