Leanne van den Hoek (born August 21, 1958 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch officer ( brigadier general ).

In 1979 she joined the Dutch Army as an officer candidate . She visited u. a. the Koninklijke Militaire Academie in Breda and the leadership academy of the Bundeswehr in Hamburg. She went through various roles and became the first female battalion commander in the Dutch Army in 2001. Her promotion to brigadier general in 2005 made her the first female general in the Dutch military .

She is married and a passionate skydiver .
