Corona of Spades

The Pik Korona ( Russian пик Корона ) is a mountain in the Kyrgyz Mountains , a part of the Tian Shan mountains in Kyrgyzstan .

The peak corona has a height of 4860  m (according to other sources 4810  m ) and thus forms one of the highest elevations in the Kyrgyz mountains. The Korona Glacier lies on its northwest flank, and the Ak Sai Glacier on its southwest flank . The eastern flank of the Pik Korona forms the breeding ground for the Sabirowa Glacier . A mountain ridge leads north to Pik Semjonow-Tjan-Schanski, 1.68 km away . The mountain is located in the Ala Artscha National Park .
