Living rosary

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Living Rosary Prayer Association was founded by Pauline Marie Jaricot in Lyon in 1826 . This prayer association consists of groups (so-called "roses") of 15 prayers each. Each group member is assigned one of the 15 laws of the rosary for prayer. Since the introduction of the "mysteries rich in light" by Pope John Paul II , the Rosary has comprised 20 laws and the Living Rosary consequently 20 prayers. All the prayers in a group together represent a complete “living” rosary.
