Lecture2Go

Lecture2Go is the central media platform of the University of Hamburg . Since 2008 , university events recorded with video technology can be seen, heard and downloaded here.

Lecture2Go was developed at the Regional Computing Center of Hamburg University (RRZ).

The video portal is based on the Liferay CE framework . The open source software is intended to strengthen computer-aided learning .

In the spirit of Open Access , Lecture2Go makes event recordings available to both university members and other interested parties free of charge. It is not necessary to register in order to use the web videos .

Lecture2Go is one of the audio and video portals through which German universities regularly publish information.

The Lecture2Go system developed in Hamburg is also used by the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf and the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences .
